What a weekend! Hopefully you had a great weekend and all the mothers had a wonderful time being celebrated. Happy Mother’s Day to you all. For us, this weekend was chopped full of exciting moments and familiar faces. Yesterday we traveled down to central Florida for a family member’s graduation from law school. The event was held at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Orlando. The venue was stunning. The building’s outside was very appealing and once you stepped foot inside and saw the winding staircases, high ceilings and elegant lighting you could easily get lost in its splendor.
I’ve never been to this venue, but once I crossed the street I was amazed at the grandeur of the exterior. I looked around and my mind immediately went back to my 3D architecture modeling classes back in college. So, it is true, design is everywhere. Sometimes it is good design that provided an effective solution to a problem and sometimes it is fail. But design is definitely everywhere.
